4Developed and built an optically powered and controlled human retinal implant IC.
4Designed, fabricated and demonstrated the first integrated hardware neural network IC.
4Researched, fabricated and characterized floating gate structures for use in a conventional CMOS fabrication process for DARPA.
4Designed and fabricated a wafer-scale digital SIMD 16-bit fixed-point image processor and memory array.
4Developed a ‘C’ based simulation testbed for a continuous speech recognition system.
4Published and presented more than a dozen technical papers.
