4Developing a very high speed I/O SERDES subsystem (> 10 Gbps) including a DLL in a  90nm CMOS process.

4Test and characterize a CMOS imager for response and noise characteristics. Extend the readout circuits for larger array sizes.

4Evaluated several variations of image compression algorithms in Matlab and performed RTL coding of each version in VHDL. Tradeoffs between ASIC and FPGA implementations were studied and recommendations made.
